How to watch IPTV on SAMSUNG/LG Smart TV with SSIPTV player app thru plugged-in USB Drive

We will show you how to install SSIPTV player on your SAMSUNG or LG smart tv app stores, a freeware

This small instruction explains how you can enjoy SATMAXX IPTV subscription directly on your Smart TV.

You need:
– A smart tv connected to the internet
– An account with SATMAXX. Make sure you have purchased your SATMAXX IPTV subscription account. You can choose from 3/6/12 monthly plans. Your account will be activated and notified once your payment is confirmed. Your account activation details will be sent to you via email. If you don’t have an account and want a pre-sales trial, you can register to get 24hours free trial. You can run the app via USB drive while the USB drive is inserted into your SMART TV. You will be required to plugin the USB drive at all times during your use.

Step 1: Open your app you will see “ The main Screen“. On the main Screen click on the Setting button




Step 2: Go to General subsection of the app’s settings and press Get code button. Provide this code to your SATMAXX PROVIDER to activate your account. Your code can be used only 24 hours (or till new code is generated)
You will be notified by email or whatsapp when your account is activated.


Step 3: Reopen the app and click REFRESH icon on top right corner of your screen to load the channels and listing options. You will notice an icon by the name PLAYLIST is now visible. You will find 3 options LIVE TV, MOVIES, SERIES. Enjoy and start using the service.


For Non-Tizen TVs (2012~2015 years of production):

  1. Download the archive: ssiptv_orsay_usb.zip
  2. Unzip the content to the root folder of USB drive.
  3. Insert your USB drive into one of the USB ports on your TV.

For Tizen TVs (2015~2019 years of production):

  1. Download the archive: ssiptv_tizen_usb.zip
  2. Unzip the content to the root folder of USB drive.
  3. Insert your USB drive into one of the USB ports on your TV.
  4. You will be required to plugin the USB all the time till you want to use the app. Or you can use alternate method

Important notice: Path does matter.
Please ensure that you have extracted the content of the archive to the root folder of the USB Flash Drive.

For example, on Windows your USB flash has letter “D”:

How to watch IPTV on SONY Smart TV with SSIPTV player app

This app is BETA version on non-android Sony Bravia Smart TV, so the working of some function or whole app is not guaranteed. This app can be used on Sony Smart TV (not Android TV) starting from 2013 TVs and higher.
For models with android OS you can install SSIPTV from Google Playstore.

This method activates app at the boot time (autostart).

Turning on Hotel/Pro mode

  1. Turn on TV
  2. Turn off TV with ordinary remote controller (IR)
  3. Press buttoni+ / Display (depends on RC)
  4. Press button Mute
  5. Press button Vol+ (volume up)
  6. Turn on TV. Now you should see Hotel/Pro mode settings in progress

Autostart by URL

  1. In the TV setting -> Hotel/Pro mode set Startup Application URI with http://app.ss-iptv.com
  2. Turn on the Startup Application feature
  3. “Home” -> “Settings” -> “Hotel/Pro mode” -> set Hotel mode = on
  4. Turn off the TV and turn on it. The application should start automatically

Autostart with USB-Flash

  1. Download application package by link at the page end
  2. Extract content of tht zip into root of USB-Flash Drive, you should see folder sony at root level. Use only FAT32!
  3. Insert the USB Flash Drive into TV
  4. “Home” -> “Settings” -> “Hotel/Pro mode” -> set Hotel mode = on
  5. Turn off the TV and turn on it. The application should start automatically

Go to Hotel/Pro mode after setting “Hotel mode = on”

  1. Press button i+ / Display (depends on RC)
  2. Press button Mute
  3. Press button Vol- (volume down)
  4. Press button Home

Turning off Hotel/Pro mode

  1. Turn on TV
  2. Turn off TV with ordinary remote controller (IR)
  3. Press buttoni+ / Display (depends on RC)
  4. Press button Mute
  5. Press button Vol- (volume down)
  6. Turn on TV
